PUBGOERS are warned to make sure their personal belongings are safe and secure before leaving their vehicles following a spate of break-ins at a Tardebigge watering hole.
Six cars have been broken into while parked at The Tardebigge pub in the last few months.
One incident happened on Sunday between 9.15-10pm.
The front side window of a Ford Fiesta Zetec X was smashed and a CD player, CDs and clothes were taken, totalling about £2,000.
Beat manager Pc Michelle Caldicott said: "We are working with the pub to sort this out and the pub is very keen to help us resolve the problem. However we need to remind people not to leave valuables in their vehicles.
"As part of our Vulnerable Vehicle Scheme, checks were recently carried out on vehicles parked in the Bromsgrove district and over the course of just a few days, more than 300 were found to be either insecure or with valuables on display. Letters and vehicle safety packs were posted to the registered keepers."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 08457 444 888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
