HAWK-EYED residents are urged to be on the lookout for a distinctive bike which was stolen from the garden of a house in the St George's area.
The red and white Trek Madone racing bike was stolen on Sunday between 7.20-7.45pm. It has Zip Carbon 404 racing wheels, Ultegra brakes and cranks and is worth about £1,500. Police did not want to give the road name from where the bike was taken.
A police spokesman said: "This is a distinctive bike which has been security marked with the owner's postcode and we are appealing to anyone with information to get in touch."
Anyone with information can call police on 08452 444 888.
