REDDITCH'S Freestyle Kickboxing Association was again in action at the UK International Open at Gloucester Leisure Centre.
Seven students and an instructor at the club took part at the event.
Chris Orme won the under 135cm advanced boys points after four fights. Orme also came third in the 135cm advanced boys continuous section and third in the 145cm advanced boys points.
In his first competition Ashley Whitehouse came away with second place in the under 155cm novice boys points.
Twin brothers Jamie and Daniel Rose along with Chris Whitehouse all aged 12 and also in their first competition were not placed in the 155cm novice boys points.
Lee Knight, 16, fought in the men's 60kg advanced points came second and in the men's advanced under 70kg managed third spot.
Instructor Adam Laurence once again got to the final of the men's under 70kg advanced points section and once again came up against world champion Carl Swaybe. After a hard battle Laurence lost by just two points to take second place.
Matthew Laurence, 16, was not placed in the men's under 65kg advanced points a section however, took part in a novice full contact Grapple and Strike event and beat his welsh opponent.
