"MATHEMATICALLY we're not safe but logically we are" said Bees boss Kevin Rowlands after seeing Anthony "the saviour" Savery net his side possibly the most vital three points of the season.
The win lifted the Bees from the bottom three but with all the bottom six clubs having just one game to go Saturday will definitely decide one club's fate.
In more good news for the Bees, a midweek meeting by the Alliance announced only two clubs from the league will go down this season leaving one more club for the drop after Bridgnorth.
"I'm still confident of staying up," added Rowlands. "And Saturday we took a massive step in doing that," he added.
"It was a great result for us but if I'm hyper critical I would say that we could have scored a lot more goals, improving our goal difference, which could count at the end of the season."
Rowlands saw Andy Grubb, Ravi Sangha, Andy Smith, Brett Fleetwood and second half substitute all miss good opportunities to stretch their lead but it was the single Savery goal on 44 minutes that took the points.
n Peter Frain's Alvechurch side continued their form with a 2-1 win at Barwell. Keith Rostill and Neil Kitching grabbed the goals.
