STEVE Bowman took four wickets for Worcester Nomads but they fell by 51 runs at home to Colwall in a friendly.
Colwall finished on 176 all out from 40 overs, mainly thanks to Tom Wolfendale (35) and T McNamara (92).
Bowman was in form with a fine 4-13 and Ollie Butterworth chipped in with 2-30 for the Bransford-based Nomads.
Nomads were given a steady start by Malcolm Jones and Roger Dixon (25) which was continued by Danny Rees (38) but the batting collapsed from 78-1 to 125 all out.
B Ford did much of the damage with 5-26 and B Weeler added 3-8 to ensure Nomads were well beaten.
However, Nomads' seconds fared a lot better in an 11-run victory after batting first against Colwall.
Although they only scored a tiny 83-9 off 40 overs, it proved enough as Dave Pearson (6-29) and debutant Steve Butts (4-9) ripped through the Colwall batting.
They were bowled out for 72 though Nick Lloyd split his lip while attempting a catch from the free-hitting Sparks and had to go to hospital.
Nomads had earlier limped through to their total with Lloyd (22no) and John Goodreds putting on 34 for the last wicket after Pearson (16) and Matt Humphries (12) also hit double figures.
n The Sunday game with Rushwick was abandoned due to bad light but Nomads did manage to total 278-4 off 40 overs.
Bowman (113) and Andy Leach (70) blasted the ball to all corners of the ground and only Cooper (3-59) helped restrict the free-scoring Nomads pair.
Rushwick started cautiously and lost four quick wickets but Cooper (48no) and Walls (38no) were left stranded on 143-4 when the conditions intervened.
Nomads seconds lost by two wickets at Stanway in an exciting finish to a low-scoring game.
Batting first, Worcester scored a modest 103-8 from 40 overs through Darren Lakin (25), Alec Isaacs (26) and Chris Elsdon (16).
Stanway batsman Ashley Mitchell set about the total on his own with 60 but his wicket caused them to slump to 80-6 and then 98-8.
O'Brien saw Stanway home with an undefeated 19, while Lakin (5-21) and Geoff Taylor (2-14) forced wickets for Nomads.
