JAMES Harborne scored the decisive try as Bromsgrove Boars under-10s defeated the hosts to win the Stratford festival on Sunday.
Bromsgrove started the tournament by defeating Stratford Pumas 25-0 in their first group game, with James Harborne (2), Will Patterson, Billy Grant and James Young scoring.
The Boars drew 5-5 with Cleve but Bromsgrove completed the group by defeating Bedworth 15-10, with touchdowns for Callum O'Carroll, Chris Cornelissen and Harborne.
Against Worcester in the semi-finals James Young scored the only try to book Bromsgrove's meeting with Stratford Wildcats in the final.
Bromsgrove's Bears team lost to Stratford Wildcats 20-0, Melborne 10-5 and Worcester 25-0 in their group games.
* Ross Westwood scored seven tries as Chaddesley Corbett under-9s defeated Alcester 60-10.
Sam Needham, Louis Ellesmore and Josh Turner touched down.
Corbett's under-8s defeated Alcester 65-15, with touchdowns for Daniel Wilde (3), Declan Hadley (3), Joe Robins, Sally-Anne Smith (2), Oliver Gough and Harry Morgan.
In the second game Corbett were given a fright - despite running out 70-60 winners.
Wilde (2), Hadley (4), Gough (2), Robins, Morgan, Ed Roden and Jenny Turner (2) scored tries.
