I USED to work at the MG Rover and I feel desperate for the workers at this difficult time. Nor do I begrudge them help.

However, the Government's response to the Rover has to be compared with the absolute zero support they gave to UEF in Bromsgrove and other businesses when they have collapsed.

Surely there is a question of equity? Or is the issue really the impending General Election?
