Alcester RFC held their annual seven-a-side competition at King's Coughton and this year there is a different name on the trophy as Medics Old Stars from Birmingham University ran away with the honours.
Twelve teams turned up to the Kings Coughton ground before being split into four groups of three with the group winners forming the semi-final line up.
Competition holders Woodrush overcame Birmingham Exiles in the main competition semi-final before succumbing to Medics in the final.
Hosts Alcester overcame Old Norvillians in their third placed plate semi-final, before losing out to University College Worcester in the final to wrap up a very good day for the students.
