THE April meeting was a practical entitled Chinese Takeaway.
The resulting arrangements were varied, with many incorporating bamboo and chopsticks. One arrangement included sparklers, which when lit gave a wonderful effect.
Instead of biscuits with the coffee, spring rolls and prawn crackers were served.
The three winners of last years' competitions were presented with silverware: Margaret Mallard for Advanced; Mandy Larner for Intermediate; Diane Hill for Novice and Sheila Merryman for Flower of the Month.
On May 10, there will be a demonstrationby Julie Pearce. Visitors welcome.
