NEWLY crowned Division One champions Cofton Hackett B completed their season in the Bromsgrove and RedditchTable Tennis League by defeating Droitwich B 9-1.
Sasha Grokhotov and Pat McCabe both won three games each for Cofton and the doubles, while Russell Duncan won Spa's only match.
Droitwich A lost to Astwood Bank 7-3, despite Tony Birch (2) and Gordon Nicklin winning their matches. Dave Wood (3), Margaret Dignum (2) and Nigel Pinson won their matches for Astwood.
Colin Would won three matches as West Midlands Phones A defeated Hillcrest 8-2. Don Shillingford and Roger Ellerington won two each for Phones, while Darren Williams won for Hillcrest.
The team of Roy Norton, Sid Hodgetts and Martin Clark ensured that Lickey Monarchs whitewashed Cofton Hackett A 10-0.
Coughton trounced West Midlands Phones B, with Ian Cooper winning a consolation match.
In Division Two Droitwich C drew 5-5 with Studley Road Terriers. Mike Kirwan and Peter Hartles won two matches each for Terriers, while Dan Vernon won the other one.
Mike Langston won all three singles matches for Droitwich and teamed up with Dave Crisp to win the doubles.
West Midlands Phones C beat Barnt Green Hornets 7-3, with wins for Ian Maybury and Alan Hyatt in the doubles.
Carter Retail B went down 7-3 to Droitwich D and Studley Road Nomads comfortably overcame Droitwich E 10-0.
