CULTURE vultures from Ipsley Middle School have been learning about life on the Continent.
Thirteen teachers from three schools in Portugal, Majorca and Italy met with pupils and staff at the Winyates Way school during a six-day trip last week.
The visit was part of the Communes Project - a European initiative aimed at promoting greater cultural awareness.
The project, in its second year of three, includes exchange trips for Ipsley students to a school in Italy giving them a valuable opportunity to learn about life abroad. Three further visits are planned for next year.
