WITH the British motoring industry having taken a body blow with the collapse of MG Rover, a group of enthusiasts are reliving some of the industry's happier days with a tour of Switzerland in their Triumph Stags.
Redditch and Bromsgrove members of the Triumph Stag Owners Club set out at the weekend for their annual tour in the 1970s classic cars, originally made in Coventry.
Former club co-ordinator for Worcestershire Tony Gibbs, of Lower Bentley, said: "They are just super cars. They were designed as tourers and that's what we'll be doing. We're looking forward to it."
