SECRETS of leadership will be revealed in a scheme being delivered by a Stourport-based company that trains people working in the construction sector.
Forum Training is receiving funding from Business Link Herefordshire and Worcestershire to run the Managing Director's Development Initiative, in partnership with Emerge OD.
The aim of the initiative is to teach key decision makers industry-specific skills. Business Link is contributing £1,000 towards the cost of the programme.
Run over five days, the modular scheme also includes a half-day one-to-one coaching session, all intended to equip budding leaders with the skills they need to meet current demands and develop their needs within their industry.
The programme focuses on key behaviour that defines good leadership and encourages participants to motivate and inspire teams, managing others to improve their performances. Effective communication is another aspect of the course.
