TWO children have been left heartbroken by callous thieves who stole their pet rabbit.
The rabbit, a brown female dwarf lop called Britney, was taken from its hutch in the garden of a house in St John's Lane, Bewdley between midnight on Saturday and 9am the following morning.
The top of the hutch had been forced off and a fence tampered with during the theft. Another rabbit was left behind.
The rabbit taken belonged to two children aged nine and 11.
Their mother, who did not want to be identified, said: "They just can't understand how someone could be so completely heartless. They have cried a lot."
