Kidderminster and District Football League

Burlish Olympic, who play in Sunday Division Three of the Kidderminster and District Football League, reached the semi-final of the Hospital Minor Cup with a 4-0 victory over Plough Dukes.

Sunday Division Two's Chaddesley Corbett, are in the semi-final of the Roy Marchant Cup, having beaten Corngreaves Grove Reserves 3-2 in the quarter-final.

Saturday Division One side Rising Sun, hammered bottom team Libertys Sports 10-3 in a mid-week fixture.

Two wins over Kings Heath Old Boys, 7-1 and 3-1 at the weekend, and a 4-1 result over Kinver in a mid-week fixture, has taken Wyre Forest to second place in the Saturday Premier.

Following a disappointing season, Brintons Chainwire won their first match in the Sunday Premier league, 2-0 over Wordsley.

Kidderminster Saturday Premier sides Cookley Social and Norton Celtic go head to head in the Kidderminster Harriers Junior Cup on Monday.

After weather decimated a round of the Sunday Minor Cup in February, a quarter final and the semi finals take place this week before the final next Tuesday.

The Saturday MInor Cup takes place on Wednesday and will feature Stourbridge based Albron and Burlish Olympic Youth from Stourport.

The Kidderminster Charity Cups committee, who are grateful for staging the three finals which kick off at 6.30pm, are hoping for bumper crowds.
