VOTERS in Wyre Forest go to the polls next Thurs-day to elect 10 people to represent them on Worcestershire County Council.
Boundary changes mean the district is broken down into nine new divisions.
Eight will elect a single councillor while one - Stourport - will choose two.
A total of 44 candidates will be battling for votes.
The Conservatives and Labour are bidding for all 10 seats.
Health Concern has named nine candidates, while the Liberal Party and Liberal Democrats have each chosen five.
The Green Party has put forward three representatives. Two independent candidates complete the list.
Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm and voting for the General Election will be carried out at the same time.
The Wyre Forest result in the General Election is expected to be announced at about 2.30am on Friday, but the results of the county council ballot will not be known until Friday afternoon.
