A NATIONAL award-winning folk duo is coming to entertain audiences at local village halls.
Melodeon, Fiddle and Two Fine Voices is a concert by John Spiers and Jon Boden, coming to the area next week.
They are described as 'the crown princes of English folk' and are coming to seven Worcestershire venues as part of the Shindig community arts scheme which brings top professional theatre and musicians to small rural venues.
The pair are promising their audiences 'a stylish and energetic journey of English traditional music and song' .
They came together in the Oxford Folk Session scene and are current holders of the Best Duo crown in BBC Radio 2's esteemed Folk Awards .
