MORE anti-Labour xenophobia from Andrew Hall. Human nature being what it is, I do not believe that rigged postal voting is confined either to the Labour Party or to Birmingham and Lancashire. No doubt it applies to all parties right across the UK.
Such abuse of the system should be limited by confining postal voting to those aged 70 plus and persons below such age with serious medical problems. The lowest turn-out at elections is among those under 25 years of age. If these young people cannot be bothered to walk a few hundred yards to vote, then clearly they are not interested and can be discounted.
