BROADWAY fund-raisers have come up smelling of roses following a charity evening with celebrity florist Chris Jones.
More than £1,400 was raised for Action Medical Research following the event, which took place at the Dormy House Hotel on March 31.
The money will fund the charity's Touching Tiny Lives campaign, looking into solutions for problems experienced by mothers during pregnancy and after birth.
The charity's Dorothy Hart said: "I was delighted that the event was a complete sell-out with over 170 tickets sold.
Chris was thoroughly entertaining and we had a full house in the hotel with a waiting list for tickets on the night."
