GIRLS from six Wyre Forest schools showed off their football skills in an inter-schools tournament at Baxter College.
Thirty-six girls from St John's First School, St John's Middle School, Foley Park First School, Sutton Park First School, Birchen Coppice First School and Birchen Coppice Middle School, took part.
The pupils, who were aged eight to 10, were split into four teams, which were named after teachers.
It was the first time the girls had competed in a tournament and Kidderminster Harriers players, Wayne Hatswell and Ian Foster, were there to lend a hand.
Suzanne Vunn, PE co-ordinator at Birchen Coppice First School, said: "It went well. The children all enjoyed it and the Harriers players were great. "
Every child who took part received a certificate.
