UNIFORMS of paramedics with the County Air Ambulance will be in pristine condition each day, thanks to a Stourport company.
Home appliances supplier, The Wash House, has donated a washer-dryer to the emergency service, which is based at Strensham, near Worcester.
As the paramedics are often called out to incidents that mean they need to wash their uniforms for the following day, their new acquisition will save them having to carry out the task at home every evening.
Annie Newell, special events co-ordinator for the service, said: "It's kind contributions such as this that really help County Air Ambulance.
"The team work long hours and, for obvious reasons, their job can be very difficult, so the washer-dryer will definitely make their job a little easier and I'd like to say a big thank you to the Wash House for their support," she added.
