JIMMY Mullen is not fussed which team Bromsgrove Rovers tackle in the Southern League Division One West play-off semi-final.

Rovers travel to the league's rock-bottom side Egham Town tomorrow in their final game of the league campaign.

Whether the Victoria Ground club win, lose or draw, they cannot move from their fourth-placed position in the league.

It means Mullen's troops face an away clash at either Clevedon Town or local rivals Evesham United in the last four of the play-offs on Monday.

"We are not bothered who it will be in the play-offs," said Mullen. "Whatever happens, we will be well prepared for the game.

"We can't move from fifth position to fourth or sixth. So the semi-final will be away from home and it's going to be difficult. There is no easy option.

"It could possibly be that to get promoted we will have to do it the hard way and play two games away from home.

"But we don't fear anybody at this level. It does not matter how we have to do it. We are more than ready for the challenges ahead."

Bromsgrove held champions Mangotsfield to a 1-1 draw last Saturday but it meant Mullen's side are now without a league win in four games.

Victory at the Runnymeade Stadium would provide a welcome confidence boost ahead of the play-offs, although doomed Egham have shown signs of form with recent wins over Corby and Sutton Coldfield.

Goalkeeper Matt Lowe returns after suspension but key defender Ross Collins is ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken nose.

Mullen added: "We felt we had 70 per cent of the game against Mangotsfield. We created a lot of chances and should have converted more than one.

"The lads were very disappointed by that and it's a pleasing sign that we did not accept getting a draw.

"It won't be easy at Egham because they have picked up a couple of wins in their last few games. We will show them plenty of respect."
