PAT Sanderson believes Worcester's supporters can roar them over the finishing line today.
The Warriors' inspirational skipper, who was this week named England captain for the summer tour to Canada, is sure that the Sixways support can make it a cauldron atmosphere in their relegation shoot-out with Northampton.
Worcester have to beat Saints to ensuure their Premiership status next season and, with the pressure on, the home advantage could make all the difference.
"I don't think there are a set of supporters that are as good as ours," said Sanderson. "Sixways is a great place to play your rugby and the atmosphere will be magnificent.
"The support can give us that extra edge, undoubtedly. They are fantastic and we love playing in front of them."
Five teams could potentially go down on Saturday with Harlequins, Leeds, Northampton and London Irish fearing the drop along with Worcester. Sanderson, though, brushes off the talk of pressure.
"It's not the first time we've been in this situation," he added. "Every time we've played this season, we've been under pressure.
"We'll go into it confident and positive as we always do. At home, in front of our crowd, we're looking forward to the game.
"The feeling is not that different to the one we had going into our match at Newcastle apart from the fact that we're at home and we have our fans behind us.
"We couldn't be any better prepared."
And rather than fearing today's outcome, Sanderson can't wait for the kick-off.
"These are the days that you want as a rugby player," he said.
"These are the games that you relish, they are not the ones you should shy away from. This, though, is a big day and an exciting occasion. I certainly cannot wait for the game and the rest of the boys are the same."
