IT will be a case of murder, mystery and suspense in Malvern this spring as an explosive drama comes to the town's theatre complex.
Malvern Theatres, in Grange Road, is hosting the town-based Middle Ground Theatre Company's production of Dial M For Murder from Tuesday, May 24, to Saturday, May 28.
Its version of Frederick Knott's 1950s classic marks the first of three thriller productions at the venue this summer as part of the thriller revival currently taking place.
Tony Wendice is a retired tennis star who has blatantly married Sheila for her money. However, when he uncovers the truth that she is in love with Max, Tony begins to plot her murder.
Lesgate, the hired killer, enters the flat while Tony establishes his alibi, but who is killed...and, more importantly, who is guilty?
The production features an all-star cast including Steven Pinder, of Brookside fame, Richard Walsh, of London's Burning and Joy Brook, of The Bill and Peak Practice.
Tickets for the show cost £14-£22 and are available from the theatres' box office on 01684 892277 or by logging on to www.malverntheatres.co.uk
