A COMMUNITY support officer at Kidderminster police station is part of a team of 30 who are taking part in a fund-raising sponsored walk/run.
Gemma Clements is gearing up for the 4.6-mile Clee Hills Country Challenge in aid of the County Air Ambulance on Sunday, May 22.
Gemma, aged 21, is taking part with Lisa Fisher's Fitness Physique class at Franche Community Centre in Kidderminster.
"Lisa has given up her time free of charge to get the team ready for the challenge, and we have been training since mid-March," said Gemma.
"Myself and the rest of the group are hoping to raise lots of money for our chosen charity, the County Air Ambulance, as it is a very worthwhile cause."
Anyone who wants to sponsor Gemma can contact her at Kidderminster Police Station on 08457 444888.
