HEREFORD Cathedral has a hectic diary of events during this month.
On Saturday, boys aged six to eight years old are to be recruited for the Cathedral choir.
Saturday will also see the inaugural gala concert to celebrate the restoration of the Willis organ.
Sunday sees the Orchestral Eucharist to mark the Feast of Consecration at 10.30am. There will be a reception following the service in the gardens of the Bishop's house. There will be a lunchtime organ concert on each Tuesday of this month (May 10, 17, 24, and 31) from 1.15-2pm and on Friday May 13 there will be a memorial service for Colonel Sir Piers Bengough.
The month list winds up on Friday May 27 with the Dean's Delight supper and concert at College Hall in Hereford Cathedral. Det-ails on 01432 374212.
