SO how do I decide whom to vote for in the General Election? Perhaps by personal circumstances.
During the last five years, I have written on two separate occasions to my MP regarding discrepancies on my rent account. On each occasion, correspondence between my MP and the local authority did no more than confirm the discrepancy.
Having experienced this treatment the first time, on the second occasion I informed the Malvern CAB.
After several months of hard work on their behalf I not only received a written apology from the local authority but also they waived the discrepancy that I owed of more than £500.
And the moral of this letter is, when I needed his help, I wrote to my MP and he let me down. When he needs my vote what do you think I will be doing? Voting for his chief rival who I believe has a CV of getting things done.
MICHAEL ASHBY,
Worcestershire.
