BUSINESS owners and high earners are to get the low down on the Government's new pension framework with a special seminar in Worcester.
The introduction of the new framework in April 2006, termed "A" Day, has been described as the "most radical overhaul of the UK pensions system since 1908."
Kendall Wadley Chartered Accountants will hold a seminar on Tuesday, May 17, at Worcester Rugby Club.
Pensions expert Andrew James, of St James Place Partnership, is speaking in Worcester as part of a nationwide event series to educate investors on the problems and opportunities that A Day brings.
"It doesn't matter whether you're a firm believer in pension planning or a sceptical observer of the pensions landscape in recent years - A Day will affect you," said Mark Ashworth, partner with Kendall Wadley.
"As a result of the new pensions framework, people will face issues linked to wealth management, property ownership and potentially their inheritance planning. Getting the right insight now will make a big difference ."
With less than a year until it is implemented, the legislation, designed to simplify pensions, is expected to affect large numbers of people. To book a place at the event, which runs from 5.30-7.45pm, contact Kendall Wadley Chartered Accountants on 01905 26215.
