HOME Front heroes who protected Worcester in the Second World War will be remembered this month during a celebration of their bravery.
The event is being held at Greyfriars, in Friar Street, on Saturday, May 28 and is part of the commemorations for the 60th anniversary of VE Day.
The National Trust, which runs the centre, is eager to hear from people who worked and lived in Worcester during the conflict and those with photographs of the city at the time.
On Saturday, May 28, visitors can enter free - both Greyfriars and the Tudor House - and there will be music, dancing and displays about life in 1930s and 1940s Worcester.
There will also be interactive exhibitions about rationing, the Home Guard, military life, 'make do and mend' and the chance to examine memories from the city archives.
