LAST week's story about the mixed changing rooms at the swimming baths in Bromsgrove's Dolphin Centre does appear to be a tragedy waiting to happen.
Now milling around in the changing areas are men and women, and boys and girls. Are they swimmers? Some people are dressed, some with a towel round them (to and from the showers), and some are in swimwear.
Chairs in the cubicles are easy to stand on and I think men, women, teenagers and tiny children are at risk.
No member of staff appears to check if people have bought a swimming ticket, and there is no-one in the changing areas.
What logic is there in both sexes sharing the same changing area? I worry about myself and others who go regularly to swim, but feel intimidated when changing in and out of swimwear.
