WE have seen in the media that Bromsgrove District Council is giving money and such like to the MG Rover workers who have unfortunately been made redundant, and I do feel sorry for them and their families.
But we live in Bromsgrove and my husband has just been made redundant and we are not getting anything from them or anyone. I only only work part-time, as I am just recovering from breast cancer.
We've got the elections now but we are not voting because we think all of them are rubbish. Also Bromsgrove District Council doesn't want to know about certain matters - only when its rent is due.

l The council has only offered the Rover workforce living locally a suspension of their Council Tax payments. We have now spoken to the council and they say anyone who has been made redundant in the Bromsgrove district, regardless of where they worked, can now apply for council tax relief.
