CONSERVATIONISTS can have their say on how two Redditch areas of natural beauty can be improved at meetings this month.
Redditch Council's landscaping and countryside department is holding two meetings to discuss the regeneration at Oakenshaw Spinney and Morton Stanley Park.
The areas will be improved with the help of a £500,000 Government grant and a period of public consultation is currently taking place.
On Wednesday, May 11, there will be a meeting to discuss the spinney at Oakenshaw Community Centre in Castleditch Lane between 7-9pm.
Residents can view the draft plan for the area and a landscape architect will be on hand to answer any questions.
On May 17, the draft plans for Morton Stanley Park will be unveiled at the Windmill Centre in Rye Grass Lane, Walkwood, between 7-9pm.
Plans for the park include refurbishment of the car park, the establishment of an orchard or arboretum and the enhancement of footways through the woodland.
The council's landscaping department has also organised a two-hour ramble around Pitcheroak Woods in Batchley on May 11. Walkers can meet in the car park, off Bromsgrove Road at 2pm.
