BROMSGROVE self defence school the British Free Fighting Association is on the verge of reaching national recognition after it agreed a distribution deal for its Survive the Streets DVD.
Blackhorse Entertainment distributors have agreed to supply the self-defence DVD to all of its high streets customers.
So far the DVD has proved popular within the martial arts community, sold through the BFFA's website and Combat magazine.
Co-founder Sharon Hopwood said: "It's amazing. The DVD has been selling well by those in the martial arts community but now it's about to go nation-wide.
"Self defence is a hot topic at the moment and there is a lot of interest in the DVD."
The deal also means the price of the DVD has been slashed from £29.99 to £14.99.
Bromsgrove Conservative parliamentary candidate Julie Kirkbride and Dean McLoughlin from the original Big Brother were at the DVD's official launch last week.
The duo were shown the basics by British Free Fighting's founder Andy Hopwood.
