BIDFORD'S first Homes and Gardens show will be held on Saturday - though it will only be a small-scale event.
As part of the village's annual church fair, there will be a display of miniature shoebox homes and tray gardens on display, created by local people.
This follows the success of the Christmas tree festival and has been organised by the vicar's wife, Jane Hall.
The spring fair will be held along the church path, weather permitting, with the homes and gardens inside St Laurence's Church.
The fair opens at 9.30am but the display will be available for viewing until 3.30pm.
Anyone who would like to enter a home (in a shoebox) or garden (maximum size 60cm by 30cm) can call Mrs Hall on 01789 772217.
