A NEWLY opened cathedral exhibition will display illustrations taken from books it has collected over several centuries.
Illustrations from books held by Hereford Cathedral are now on display, and feature the glinting and gilding work of medieval illuminators, as well as 20th Century black and white woodcuts used in George Bernard Shaw's novel, Adventures of the Black Girl in Search of God.
To complement the exhibition, artist Diane George will hold a seminar on some of her work featured in the exhibition and Graham Hamer will deliver a lecture, entitled The Gospel of Thomas - A New Light or Distorted Image.
