Health Concern have been almost wiped out on Worcestershire County Council, while the Conservatives took control of the authority.
The hospital pressure group have only one councillor left after five of its county members lost their seats.
Jill-Fairbrother Millis won a seat in Stourport but Howard Martin, Liz Davies, Mike Shellie, Frank Baillie and James Parish all suffered defeat.
The Conservatives, meanwhile, increased their tally of seats from one to five. The result means the party now has a majority of councillors at County Hall after years of working in tandem with Labour.
Labour's fortunes improved when the party won two Wyre Forest seats through Nigel Knowles and Paul Mills who swept to victory in St Barnabas and St Mary's.
Liberal Party stalwarts Mike and Fran Oborski retained their seats but the group failed to make any other gains.
Serving Health Concern councillor John Gordon had stepped down for the poll. The party - whose parliamentary candidate Dr Richard Taylor retained his seat - had contested nine out of the 10 seats.
