A POLICEMAN was taken to hospital suffering minor injuries after a motorist drove into him.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, at the Texaco service station in Kidderminster Road, Bewdley.
The black Renault Clio drove at the uniformed officer before heading off in the direction of Kidderminster.
Police are particularly keen to speak to two men who went to the assistance of the officer while he was on the ground.
The incident happened at about 5.30pm on Saturday, April 16, but police have only just released the details.
"The garage was quite busy and a number of witnesses have been spoken to," said Det Con Kim Carpenter, of Kidderminster Police
"However, police are appealing for further witnesses to come forward who may not have remained at the garage and left before the police attendance."
