A SUCCESSFUL Malvern gym is planning a nationwide expansion.
Attiva, previously Planet Fitness, was launched just 18 months ago by fitness industry professional Richard Noble.
The Townsend Way business will now to be the model for a chain of identical, franchised fitness centres across Britain.
"I'm pleased that what we do here in Malvern has been successful and, by franchising what we do, gyms like ours could open all over the country," said Mr Noble.
He attributed the club's success to giving members individual attention and personal service. Many had previously been sceptical about joining a gym because of their shape, age or weight, he added.
"Our new clubs will recreate the inclusive, affordable and intimidation-free approach that has been successful here," said Mr Noble.
