AN artist inspired by travel and another who prefers to paint in high places will be bringing their work to a wider audience this month.
David Prentice, from Hanley Terrace, Malvern, will have his exhibition - The Lie of the Land - hung at the John Davies Gallery in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire, from Saturday, May 14.
And Amanda Broomfield, of St Dunstan's Crescent, Worcester, is taking her work to London's Battersea Contemporary Art Fair for a three-day festival, starting on Friday, May 13.
"I often feel like a sponge, having absorbed such a blast of colour, noise, smells and social commotion from my travels around the world," said Ms Broomfield.
Mr Prentice - famous for his paintings of the Malvern Hills - has been working on his latest show since the year 2000.
Many of the works in the three-week show are painted from high-up viewpoints.
"I've always worked from elevated positions - it's something that interests me as an idea," he said.
