TWO people have been arrested in connection with the death of woman at the back of a village polling station on election day.
The 22-year-old woman, who has not yet been identified, was found unconscious in a van outside Martley Memorial Hall, west of Worcester, at about 4.45pm on Thursday.
The pair were arrested in Stratford-upon-Avon yesterday and are being questioned by Warwickshire Police about the supply of illegal drugs.
The woman had been working at the Memorial Hall on Thursday selling clothes with colleagues from a company that came from the Warwickshire area, a spokesman for West Mercia Police said.
At the time police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death after the woman had complained of feeling unwell all day.
Paramedics took her to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, where she was pronounced dead around 35 minutes after being found.
An inquest into the woman's death will open when the woman is formally identified.
