WORCESTERSHIRE are facing a battle to avoid a potentially embarrassing defeat against Loughborough University today.
The County go into day three of the Kidderminster clash trailing by 103 runs after a woeful batting display.
After the visitors declared on 304-6, Worcestershire found themselves 0-3 following ducks for Stephen Moore, Stephen Peters and Ben Smith.
South African Zander de Bruyn prevented the youngsters ripping thr-ough Worcestershire's middle order with a battling 81, featuring 11 fours and one six, while James Pipe supported with 23.
The County were, however, skittled for just 133 and forced to follow on.
Worcestershire finished the day on 68-2 with Smith and De Bruyn in partnership.
