JIM Cockerton is confident of providing Evesham United boss Dave Busst with enough spending power to maintain the club's survival in the Southern League Premier Division.
Busst guided the Robins to promotion last Saturday with a 4-0 victory over rivals Bromsgrove Rovers in the Southern League Division One West play-off final.
Chairman Cockerton praised Busst for his efforts at Common Road and admits the former Coventry City defender will be provided adequate funds next season.
Cockerton said: "We are going to play at a much higher level than what we're used to. But we've got to stay there. We are not going to make up the numbers.
"We should be discussing budgets for next season and we'll see what we can do. There should be enough to take us forward."
Busst admits several players will be released to free up funds to bring in new signings.
He said: "All the players will be involved when we return to pre-season, but we'll be looking to bring in new players.
"We must consolidate next season, but it will be difficult.
"Solihull Borough found it tough and they've gone down."
