BBC Hereford & Worcester's mid-morning host Katie Johnson has been treated to a make-over by Beatties beauticians to raise awareness for a charity dedicated to helping women who have had cancer.

Look Good...Feel Better is the cosmetic industry's charity which helps women to combat the physical and visible side effects of their treatment.

The team from the CrownGate store made-up the presenter, who is renown for not wearing make-up yesterday and will be giving live demonstrations, beauty hints and tips in Bell Square, CrownGate shopping centre until Saturday.

CrownGate's centre manager, Carolyn Mantle said: "The campaign strikes a cord with all women and we hope this week is a great success for the Beatties team."

Members of the public are invited to book a free make-over and make a donation to the charity.

All those who donate via Beatties also stand a chance to win a top prize of £500 worth of cosmetics by Chanel.

The charity is staffed by 500 volunteer beauticians who do make-overs and workshops in more than 37 hospitals in the UK.
