BELBROUGHTON CC's first taste of action in the Npower Village Knockout Cup for 30-years came to a swift end on Sunday.
The Tons met their match against a strong Colwall side.
Belbroughton's opponents set a challenging target of 243 for victory.
However, only Geoff Day made an impact with the bat as he recorded 56, before the Tons were bowled out for 138.
Captain Dave Hayward said: "We played a very strong side that performed better on the day. "However, we have learned a lot from the experience."
