IN the past four months Asia has suffered the loss of more than 100,000 lives with the tsunami affecting a million plus human beings.

Iraq still sees daily loss of life through terrorist attacks. In the UK children are being beaten to death by so called parents and mothers are being stabbed in the neck by lunatics.

In the West Midlands more than 5,000 people have lost their livelihoods, in one hit, affecting more than 20,000 people.

And the major headline of the week is a lady who is fortunate to be in a country with a decent health service, who had to wait a couple of days longer than planned for an operation, then complained when her letter of complaint was dumped in a skip instead of being shredded.
