CHILDREN at a Bromsgrove nursery were treated to a fun day when a police officer paid a visit.
PC Matt Lucas, from West Mercia Constabulary, stopped off at Jack and Jill Nursery, in Millfields Road, on Monday. His visit was part of Helping Hands Week at the nursery to give children an insight into jobs that help the community.
The youngsters got to dress up, make cakes, look at a police car and talk to PC Lucas.
But the fun day also carried a serious message. The children were told about the dangers of talking to strangers and given information on what to do in such a situation.
