A TODDLER group hosted a tabletop fair and balloon race to raise £350.
St Godwald's Pre-School Playgroup and Toddler Group held the event at their base at St Godwald's Church Hall, Finstall Road, last Saturday.
There was a range of activities for children to enjoy which culminated in the balloon race.
A total of 50 balloons were released with the furthest so far reported to be found in Little Chalfont in Buckinghamshire - some 78 miles away.
All money raised from the day will go towards new play equipment and resources.
Playgroup leader Sue Overton said: "We are a thriving community group and the success of this event was down to the hard work and dedication of a fantastic team of parents and carers."
