A SCHOOL in Bromsgrove has been described as "very effective with many excellent features" in a recent Ofsted report.
Staff and pupils at Millfields First School, in Swift Close, are celebrating after inspectors identified no areas of weakness or areas for development.
The inspectors also said the quality of teaching was of a very high standard, the school was excellent value for money, pupils are highly motivated, and parents play a key role in their children's education. Innovation in the curriculum was described as excellent, exceeding the requirement of the National Curriculum.
Headteacher Sarah Power said: "We are absolutely delighted that the inspectors have recognised the very high quality of our work - declaring our school to be exceptionally successful. It's hard work to achieve such high standards, but we enjoy every minute of it!"
