THE Roman era was brought to life at a Spa school on Monday.
Cutnall Green First School hosted the Roman Day and fascinated children heard amusing talks in Latin and were told how bathhouses and toilets from that time worked.
Teacher Sarah Foster said: "It was a very enjoyable day for both staff and teachers. The children even made replica Roman shields."
