CLIVE Smith's impressive figures of 5-51 helped Chainwire to 13 points from a winnig draw against Cleobury in Division Five.
Chainwire were put in to bat and struggled on the damp pitch. Cleobury's opening bowlers O Rowlands (2-29) and Grant Carbines, who took 1-7, bowled a tight line and helped reduce Chainwire to 73-5 off 32 overs.
Then a stand of 73 between Mark Meese 58 and Stephen James 42no enabled Chainwire to post a respectable 173-6 off their 45 overs.
In reply, Cleobury made a slow start thanks to good opening spells from Meese and S Beasley. The introduction of James and Smith saw Chainwire take control, restricting Cleobury to 132-7 off their 45.
